How the sportsbook works
Every market on every event is its own pool. When you join a pool, your stake is added to the stakes of everyone else who picked an outcome in that market. The pool closes at the scheduled start of the event.
Once a pool closes, the published deduction for that pool is taken and the remaining amount is shared among the winning stakes in proportion to their size. That is why we never show a fixed price before the pool closes: nobody knows it yet.
Before you join a pool
- Create an account and complete identity verification. Pools are open only to verified customers.
- Confirm you are in a province where we can accept you. Ontario residents must use AGCO-registered operators.
- Set deposit, loss and session limits from your account. Lower limits apply immediately.
- Check the settlement rules for the sport. Overtime, retirements and postponements are handled differently by sport.
